I had the pleasure of training with Paul at the broadcast institute. I had a brilliant few days. Paul was so relaxed, really encouraging and brilliant to be around. I received a lot of positive and constructive appraisal from my time with Paul. He was brilliant to work with. He gave us a great insight to what it would be like in the world of Broadcasting and made us feel so secure in the knowledge that we all had a place there in our own unique way. What I loved was meeting people of all different backgrounds who wanted to step out of their own comfort zones and improve their skill sets when speaking in front of a camera. Definitely not an easy thing to do but with Paul's expertise and guidance it made it so much easier. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to push the boundaries and grow as an individual.

I had the pleasure of attending Paul Connolly’s TV & Social Media and Presenting Masterclass last January. Paul was an excellent instructor who met us all at our levels of comfort during the course. He gently encouraged us to try different presenting methods through fun and interactive tasks where we ended up finding our own unique presenting styles. Paul helped me find my own voice and confidence as a presenter. I am very grateful for the priceless wisdom I got from this course, giving me skills that will be an asset to me in both my professional and personal life. August gone, my life changed thanks to The Broadcast Institute. I did a three day course inTV presenting. It was the best thing I’d ever done. I learnt life skills such as how to interview people and how to talk clearly and with confidence to camera. I have confidence thanks to Paul Connolly. I set up my own podcast on Spotify, where I interview well-knowing personalities. I really enjoyed the course, I also made friends for life. So if you're thinking of getting trained up in broadcasting, do it! You won't regret it.

Recently I had the pleasure of partaking in Paul's course 'Interviewing Skills for Radio'. One of the best courses I've ever taken, Paul gave us a deep dive into his career as a producer, presenter by way of practical tips, hints and explaining the common pitfalls of the unprepared or unlucky interviewer. A lot of the time media courses can be history or theory heavy but this was 50 percent practical and had everyone thoroughly engaged the whole way through. Personally I came away having learned a lot and feeling empowered in my own interviewing style. To someone considering using Paul Connolly for media training I would absolutely recommend him. He has a lovely, warm style, replete with anecdotes and a wealth of experience learned first hand. Excellent training and trainer.

I absolutely loved the course! It was great to get the practical experience in presenting for television, and also to receive personalised guidance and feedback from a professional. I've come away from the course confident in my abilities and excited to pursue it as a career!

We attended the TV presenter course with Paul in November 2021. The course was everything we hoped it would be and more! Throughout the course we learned many different aspects and types of presenting to camera - from live reporting, working with a teleprompter and interview techniques to name but a few.
